Different roots. One live sound.
Baba Caiman started in Jacksonville in February 2016, when a group of friends turned a shared love of music and fun into a band.
The beginning
It started before there was a stage plan.
The first spark was friendship: musicians with influences reaching across Latin America, the Caribbean and North America, learning how those sounds could live together in one set.
That curiosity became Baba Caiman—a Latin fusion band built around live percussion, recognizable songs, cultural connection and a crowd that never stays separate from the show.
Years on stage
Still friends. Still experimenting. Still moving the room.
From festivals and cultural celebrations to weddings, corporate gatherings, clubs and community benefits, every stage has sharpened the same promise: make a mixed crowd feel like one dance floor.
